Background and Experience
D H Educate is an education consultancy specialising in pedagogy, for improving the intent, implementation and impact of learning with training providers, schools and colleges. In addition, we offer self-regulating digital courses for English Functional Skills and GCSE English.
As Founder of DH Educate, Deborah Hawley has spent over 30 years in education as an English specialist – in front of students and in various management roles, including Head Teacher. Her passion for education endures and she continues to run tutorials for her clients’ students as well as providing CPD for teachers, tutors or trainers.
Deborah has coached teaching and learning staff to enhance their skills, knowledge, understanding and application to help their learners achieve, facilitating those vital skills so that they are able to transfer their learning throughout their life and continue to make an impact on their personal growth.
Our consultancy services are applied to many aspects of the learning process, from leadership and management support in areas such as preparation for Ofsted, liaison with awarding bodies, staff support and meaningful tailored CPD for tutors, to direct tutorials and learning resources for students.
Deborah has worked with leading Apprenticeship providers, rated outstanding by Ofsted. She has worked in inner city comprehensive schools, community schools, and international schools. She is an acolyte for vocational qualifications in secondary schools as well as the core subjects. She has been successful in helping improve standards through administrative and empirical processes, communication and teacher training.
